The course provides you with the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for the proper use of a handgun, rifle and shotgun. Students will be introduced to the different types of firearms and their appropriate applications. This is a hands on class allowing you to have actual experience loading and unloading the firearm, proper operation,maintenance and live-fire exercises. There are no equipment requirements for this class. All equipment including firearms, ammunition, ear and eye protection are provided. This is the class to take if you have had little experience with firearms. The course is fast paces and action packed very little “lecture time.” Great class to attend with a friend or anyone interested in handguns. Topics covered include: Gun Safety, Proper Storage and Maintenance of Handguns, Shooting Stance, Sight Alignment, Loading/Unloading, Handgun Accessories and Handgun Selection.
